Sameer Chowdhury
Intern
Sameer Chowdhury is currently an intern at e2 Retirement Consulting, where he focuses on assessing clients' financial objectives, assets, liabilities, and plans to help them meet their financial goals. He is learning to analyze financial data and develop plans to assist clients in achieving their objectives. He recently passed his SIE and is preparing for the Series 7 exam to advance his career in finance.
Sameer attends the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater, majoring in finance with an emphasis in financial planning and a minor in actuarial math. His motivation stems from a desire to make a meaningful impact and a constant drive for growth. With both parents working in banks, Sameer's career in finance combines his passion for both people and numbers, and he is excited about the opportunity to build relationships and create value for others.
Sameer values the respect he receives from colleagues and enjoys learning from experienced professionals willing to share their knowledge. While he hopes to specialize in financial planning by obtaining the CFP designation, this remains a long-term goal. Born in Dubai, UAE, Sameer moved to Qatar at 14 and then to Wisconsin for his education. Outside the office, he serves as a Resident Assistant (RA) at UW-Whitewater, where he builds long-lasting relationships and helps students adjust to college life. Sameer is involved in the RA Training Committee, the Financial Management Association (FMA), and the Capital Markets Club (CMC), focusing on enhancing financial literacy and learning about stock evaluation. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, running, playing tennis, cooking, and reading, which help him maintain a balanced lifestyle.
