Micah Hoehner
Intern
Micah Hoehner is currently an intern at e2 Retirement Consulting, where he manages paperwork and assists advisors while preparing for his Series 66 exams. These certifications will fully license him as an advisor. Although this is Micah's first professional finance position, he has been self-managing his own retirement fund for seven years, providing him with a solid foundation in investments. In addition, he has recently passed the SIE as well as the Series 7 exam, the first step in financial advisory licensure.
Before venturing into finance, Micah worked in the service industry as a server at Water Street Brewery in Grafton for about a year and as a lifeguard for three years in St. Charles, MO. He is currently attending Concordia University Wisconsin, aiming to graduate in May 2026 with both a bachelor's and an MBA, concentrating on corporate finance and investments.
Micah is motivated by the opportunity to use his skills to perform fiduciary duties and help others achieve their goals. His fascination with numbers and the power to grow wealth through strategic investments inspired him to pursue a career in the financial industry. He values working with people and contributing in a tangible, meaningful way.
Micah's journey into finance began at 13 when he started a lawn-mowing company, which grew significantly and led him to set up a custodian account at 14 with his dad's guidance. Originally from St. Charles, MO, he currently resides on the campus of Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, WI. Actively involved in campus life, Micah serves as the President of the Investment Club and the CFO of the Student Government Association. In his free time, he is passionate about fitness, often found in the weight room or on the basketball court.
